Large batch of potent medications found at Kyrgyz-Uzbek border

A large quantity of potent pharmaceutical drugs was discovered at a section of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz state border in Polmon mahalla of Kuvasay city. The Uzbekistan’s State Security Service reported.

Preliminary investigations revealed that seven boxes containing a total of 53,522 packages of Regapen tablets and 20,000 Zardex tablets—potent medications worth over 6 billion sums—were smuggled from Kyrgyzstan.

A criminal case has been opened, and the necessary measures are underway to identify the owners of the medications.
