Construction of a road leading to Ala-Too Resort in Ak-Suu district of Issyk-Kul region is underway.
According to the Ministry of Transport, excavation, widening, leveling, and compaction of the roadway are underway on an 8.5-kilometer stretch from the village of Jyrgalan to the resort. Work is being carried out in two shifts.
The main excavation and widening of the road are scheduled for completion this year. Subgrade preparation and asphalt paving are scheduled for the fall of 2026.
