At least five people in Batken region of Kyrgyzstan were bitten by a rabid wolf. The animal was shot dead. Regional Department of the Ministry of Health informed 24-kg.com news agency.
The victims are under observation in the surgery unit of a hospital. They all are vaccinated.
The department stressed that the head of the wolf was sent to Osh city for tests. Experts confirmed that the predator had rabies.
