Police officer of Patrol Police Department, who was injured in a traffic accident in Cholpon-Ata town, died in a hospital. Department of Internal Affairs for Issyk-Kul region informed 24-kg.com news agency.
The accident happened the day before. Driver of Subaru Forester, loosing control over the car, drove off the road and crashed into the patrol police vehicle. As a result, one of the policemen got serious injuries. He was taken to the hospital with fractures of legs and a rupture of internal organs. Not regaining consciousness, he passed away.
The car was put on the parking lot, and the driver — in temporary detention facility. A criminal case was opened. According to preliminary data, Subaru driver was sober. Investigators find out causes of the accident.
