The national football team of Kyrgyzstan lost match to the team of India in the qualifying tournament for Asian Cup 2019.
Match of the second round in the group A took place in the city of Bangalore (India). Pavel Matyash, Tamirlan Kozubayev, Ilyaz Alimov, Viktor Mayer, Mirlan Murzaev, Akhlidin Israilov, Aman Manibekov, Vitaliy Luks, Bakhtiyar Duyshobekov, Farhat Musabekov and Anton Zemlyanukhin represented Kyrgyzstan.
At the very beginning of the game, one of the leaders of our team, Anton Zemlyanukhin, was injured and replaced by Edgar Bernhardt as a result of harsh actions of the goalkeeper of the Indians. In the first 15 minutes, the national team of the Kyrgyz Republic attacked more often. Then there was an equal game with a few dangerous moments at both gates. The goalkeepers of the teams played reliably.
In the 69th minute of the match Sunil Chhetri scored the first goal. This goal was the only one till the end of the game. The result — 1: 0 in favor of the national team of India.
According to the results of the tour, India ranks first in the group (six points). Myanmar is the second and Kyrgyzstan is the third (three points). Macao (0) takes the last place. The third round is scheduled for September 5: the team of Kyrgyzstan will compete with Myanmar, and Macao will meet with India.
