The entrance fee to Inylchek nature reserve now costs 5,000 soms. The Association of Tour Operators of Kyrgyzstan is against it, its head Timur Akbyshev reported to 24-kg.com news agency.
According to him, the Khan-Tengri glaciers are located on the territory of the reserve.
«Climbers tend to climb to the top, but ordinary tourists also come. The so-called, budgetary. 5,000 soms for a simple visit is a huge amount for them. Not everyone can pay such sum. We therefore oppose. This cares tourists away," Timur Akbyshev said.
Asked whose order it was to set such a price, he replied that the price was introduced with the consent of the government.
«We plan to prepare an appeal and demand a review of the cost of visiting the reserve. 5,000 soms is very high cost," Timur Akbyshev says.
