Winter tourist season officially opened in Karakol

The winter tourist season was officially opened in Karakol on November 30. The ski resort of the same name announced its opening and readiness to welcome guests.

Representatives of local government, the tourism industry, residents and visitors attended the ceremony.

According to law enforcement agencies, officers from Ak-Suu District Department of Internal Affairs are on duty at the resort to ensure public order and safety. Tourist police from the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Issyk-Kul region will also operate as usual, monitoring the safety of visitors.

Furthermore, the region is taking additional measures to improve service quality and create comfortable conditions for tourists.
