Kyrgyz athletes won three bronze medals in jiu-jitsu at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Saudi Arabia. The Games’ website says.
In the bronze medal bouts:
- Argen Abdymanapov defeated Sirozhbek Rustamov from Uzbekistan in 69-kilogram weight class,
- Ruslan Sagdeev defeated Hamza Elfariza from Morocco in the 94-kilogram weight class;
- Abdurakhman Murtazaliev defeated an athlete from Tunisia in the 85-kilogram weight class.
The Kyrgyz team moved up to 13th place in the medal standings.
