30 meters of happiness: Giant shawarma made in Naryn city

A local cafe in Naryn celebrated its birthday in a way that has the whole city talking. To celebrate its second anniversary, the establishment decided to surprise its guests by preparing a giant shawarma measuring 30 meters in length.

The record-sized dish required 25 kilograms of meat, 70 sheets of lavash, and 20 kilograms of potatoes, along with fresh vegetables and sauces — turning it into a true gastronomic marathon. The shawarma was laid out on long tables and then pieces were handed out to anyone who wanted one.

More than 200 residents, many with children, came to the celebration. Naryn can now confidently be called the «shawarma capital.»
