Both sides of tunnel being paved on Too-Ashuu pass

Work on landscaping the area around the Kusein Kolbaev tunnel on Too-Ashuu pass continues. According to the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kyrgyzstan, the first layer of asphalt has been completely laid on the northern side of the tunnel. Road works are actively underway on the southern side.

In addition, plans include the construction of parking spaces for cars, rest areas and photo areas at the entrances to the tunnel. Modern toilets are also planned for the convenience of travelers.

According to the Ministry of Transport, these measures are aimed at improving the safety and comfort of travel along the strategically important Bishkek-Osh highway.
