Sadyr Japarov and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visit Rukh-Ordo center

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited Rukh-Ordo Cultural Center in Cholpon-Ata on April 22.

Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy Mirbek Mambetaliev gave a short tour of the center, telling about the history of the creation of the open-air museum on the shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. Then an informal dinner was held.

According to the press service of the head of state, during a walk around the territory of the center, the guests of honor visited the pier, made in the form of a national musical instrument. There they were demonstrated the skill of playing the komuz. Afterwards, Sadyr Japarov presented a komuz — a symbol of Kyrgyz musical culture — to the distinguished guest.

Then, the President and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan tasted kuurma tea during a demonstration of national treats.

Later they went to the radon hot spring located near the complex. There, Sadyr Japarov told about the healing properties of the water, emphasizing that there are thousands of such springs in Issyk-Kul region known for their beneficial effect on health.
