Deputy Mayor of Osh city Saltanat Amanova and UNDP Resident Representative in Kyrgyzstan Alexandra Solovieva discussed the development of bilateral and regional cooperation. The City Hall reported.
The parties also touched upon the topic of strengthening ties in the social, economic and tourism spheres, as well as the implementation of joint programs at the technical level, including the creation of creative platforms for youth and women.
Saltanat Amanova spoke about the work on developing the city’s tourism potential, stressed the importance of introducing modern ideas in the tourism sector, exchanging experience with developed countries, developing ecotourism and expanding opportunities for artisans.
The importance of expanding economic opportunities for young people, creating conditions for their development and strengthening social cohesion was also noted.
Alexandra Solovieva proposed developing the digital economy in the city, opening creative spaces and co-working centers for women within the framework of UNDP initiatives. Proposals were also voiced to improve the urban environment through digitalization.
