Construction company voluntarily transfers apartments and offices to state

One of the construction companies transferred some premium-class apartments and office space to the state. The press center of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (SCNS) reported.

«In 2005, when the Bishkek City Hall transferred a land plot to a construction company, an agreement was concluded on providing the municipality with 13 percent of the built housing. However, using corrupt connections, the obligation was excluded from the contract by a court decision. Subsequently, the land plot was resold to third parties who were misled,» the statement says.

The investigation found out that at present, on a plot of 0.75 hectares, V construction company is building a residential complex President, consisting of three blocks with premium-class apartments. In total, the complex will have 151 apartments.

«The construction company, being a bona fide buyer, voluntarily transferred 14 percent of the property to the state (taking into account the redemption price of the land plot), that is, 20 apartments and 2 commercial premises with a total area of ​​2,285 square meters,» SCNS added.

The state committee continues to work to detect illegal actions with land plots in the city of Bishkek. The persons involved in their commission are being identified, and the most stringent measures will be taken against them within the framework of the current legislation. In addition, a legal assessment of the judges’ actions will be given on the above-mentioned fact.
