Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev made a working visit to Talas region, where he took part in the opening ceremonies of several significant facilities. The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
A new two-story building of the rural administration was opened in Shumkar-Uya village, Talas district, built for 58 million soms at the expense of the local budget.
Speaking at the ceremony, Bakyt Torobaev emphasized that within the framework of the administrative-territorial reform, aiyl aimaks and cities are being consolidated in order to promptly and efficiently resolve issues of local residents, improve the availability and quality of services, and the responsibility of local authorities.
In Kenesh village of the same district, he took part in the ceremony of laying a capsule at the construction site of a kindergarten for 75 children. The cost of the facility is 75 million soms, it is also financed from the local budget. The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers noted positive changes in the country’s economy, which make it possible to implement such social projects.
A cattle slaughterhouse has been opened in Chon-Alysh rural municipality. It is noted that the state supports initiatives to build modern slaughterhouses that meet veterinary and sanitary requirements, which is an important step in strengthening food security.
In addition, in Kok-Kashat village, Bakyt Torobayev took part in the opening of a wool processing plant. The launch of this small enterprise, capable of processing up to 500 kilograms of raw materials per day, will allow farmers to receive additional income, since the wool of fine-wool sheep has not been valued or processed in recent years. The enterprise will also provide local residents with new jobs.
