The Bishkek police received a statement from a woman on October 30 that her husband, 52, kidnapped his 17-year-old stepdaughter using a BMW X5.
According to the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the capital, during the investigative activities, the suspect was found in Issyk-Kul region, but in a different car. He was detained by officers of the Department of Internal Affairs of Pervomaisky district together with colleagues from the Department of Internal Affairs of Issyk-Kul region while attempting to commit suicide.
A criminal case has been opened on this fact under the articles «Kidnapping» and «Murder» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
