According to preliminary research results, rabies is suspected in a dog that bit 19 people in Osh region of Kyrgyzstan. The Kara-Suu Department of the State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Safety informed 24-kg.com news agency.
The final results will be known in 30 days.
«Examination of the dog’s brain was carried out, in which inclusion cells were found. This allow to make a preliminary conclusion about the presence of the rabies virus,» the specialists explained and added that all preventive measures are taken, in particular forced vaccination of livestock in Kara-Suu district.
