Russian restaurateurs are ready to establish cooperation with producers of vegetables, fruits, textiles and wine from Uzbekistan. Uznews reports ,citing Igor Bukharov, President of the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Russia (FRIO).
Igor Bukharov met with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Russia Botirjon Asadov. They discussed interaction of the Federation with manufacturers of products from Uzbekistan for restaurants and hotels in the Russian Federation.
«We are interested in vegetables, fruits, nuts. There are entire agro-industrial clusters in Uzbekistan. There are also clusters of light industry, which make linen from cotton and sew textiles for hotels and restaurants. They also have their own winery, and they are ready to supply this product as well,» Bukharov said.
He noted that earlier products from Uzbekistan were mainly supplied only to the market, and cooperation with restaurateurs was not established.
«We agreed that in May there will be a special event with participation of suppliers and buyers from Russia. We will invite restaurateurs so that they can try everything and conclude contracts directly,» the head of the federation added.
