The parliament radio has a debt to the RPO RMTR, the Communications Agency and Aknet company in the amount of 203,000 soms. Head of the press service Erkinbek Kaimov announced at a meeting of the Committee on Transport, Communications, Architecture and Construction of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan.
According to him, parliament radio stopped broadcasting on June 15, 2021.
«The main reason is debts. Three employees are laid off within the optimization. But if the financial issue is resolved, then the radio is ready to resume broadcasting,» Erkinbek Kaimov said.
The committee instructed to check the information and find ways to resume the work of the parliament radio.
